One of The Northwest's most beloved radio news anchor's will crack the mic for the final time! After 55 years of service in the broadcast industry, 33 of which were spent at 94.1 KMPS-FM. Don Riggs has made the announcement that he isformally retiringfrom radio effective April 11, tune into 94.1 KMPS-FM for his final broadcast. Good Bye, and Good Luck- you will be missed!

We are so sad to hear you are leaving. The Morning Show will not be the same. It was great hearing your stories, especially the ones of your vacations. You will be missed. I was on my way to work on 9/11/2001. Your calm voice in the begining of what came to be horrific news was the anchor to keep people calm and that is the true measure of what it is to be a newsman. I will never forget your voice that morning. Thank youfor your Service.
