Nathan Chance & North Coast - AKA The KMPS House Band

Nathan Chance & North Coast is also the official KMPS house band and has played at many KMPS events including most recently the Rascal Flatts Pre-Party at the Tacoma Dome.

What started as just a couple guys from Montana and Canada gettin' together to combine followings soon took off into regional phenomenon. Since the inception of "Nathan Chance" in May of 2006, the boys have opened for National-caliber Acts such as Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride, Shedaisy, Brooks n' Dunn, George Strait and most recently.... Rascal Flatts. Their following continues to grow in the northwest due in large part to the support of major market stations like KMPS of Seattle. Their style of country music has been labeled "Industrialized Country" by producers in Nashville.  Fans from all over the Pacific Northwest continue to flock to shows as they've come to expect the best "regional" entertainment around. Come see for yourself how two small town boys have managed to capture the attention of big crowds. Welcome to Nathan Chance Country...

Brooke Pennock
"I don't know where this stuff comes from. The songs write me, I don't write them. I certainly have tons of life experiences and a great imagination, but sometimes the beauty or perfection of a line I've just written can surprise me."
Buckaroo Blues Band
Hang on to your hats and put your dancin' boots on, it's time to get Buckarooed. The Buckaroo Blues Band is available for your dancing and listening pleasure with their mixture of new and classic country, rock, blues and the occasional surprise song(cow-funk, anyone?).
Bullitt County
Bullitt County is a band born of the triple flames of OCTANE, LIQUOR, and DAMNATION. The bastard offspring of rednecks and punks, of hillbillies and headbangers, these boys are out to give ya a damn good reason to park yer debauched butt in that church pew come Sunday mornin'. Mixin' elements of Southern Rock, Punk, Outlaw Country, and even a little Rockabilly here and there, they aim to make even the most prim and proper among us wanna shake their butts to the beat and belch out loud at a big ol' barbecue. Grab a couple o' sixers, folks, 'cause it's all down hill from here...
Chrissy Alexander & Roughstock
Chrissy Alexander & The Roughstock Band is a promising band out of Western Washington. Their ability to "play well with others" is obvious when the lights go down and the music begins. Chrissy's power, range and non-stop energy will keep you on your toes while the fellas hit you blindside with a unique style of their own. Chrissy has opened for acts such as Chris LeDoux, Mark Chestnut and Blackhawk and takes pride in performing our National Anthem for our troops whenever she can. Now the boys on the other hand, bring their own bag of goodies. From Corporate parties to opening for your favorite Country artists, these fellas have seen and done it all. No lack of experience here! The band anticipates a great year ahead and hope you come along for the ride!

Megan Munroe
Megan is a prolific writer and has spent several years incubating her talents and creating a rich library of original songs.  Her first full-length recording, Married to the Melody, is an album which reflects her small-town roots, blending bluegrass, mainstream country and classic rock with a Nashville-flavored twist.  Her music has been featured on MTV's "Laguna Beach" and in the film "Lost on the B Side" where she co-starred as an actress...plus she co-starred on WB's "Everwood".
Patti Hall
Patti's voice, described as being "like velvet" and a beautiful contrast of subtlety and power all at the same time shines through on Sooner or Later and Never Ask Why.

Roy Kay Trio
Is a hard working traditional rockabilly band from the Northwestern United States. The line-up of the trio is the same today as it was when they formed in late 2001.
Star Anna
Rising star, Ellensburg-based Star Anna has an innate ability to find comfort in a place of discomfort where pain and heartache are their only friend. Like the lonely call of a wolf on a winters night, her voice is haunting, stirring, yet strangely familiar. She's been quoted as the new queen of torch and twang, a musical soul-mate for those late and lonely nights, a voice so intoxicating that it might just eliminate any real desire to find a true love. They are currently celebrating the release of their first album, Crooked Path (the meaning of Star Anna's last name, Krogstie, in Norwegian). The album is available March 4th on Malamute Records.
