KMPS OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

1.            How to Enter the Contest:

a.       Contest runs through dates specified for contest.

b.       To be eligible, listener must fulfill requirements stated in specific contest rules for the contest.  Age restrictions as stated in specific contest rules.

2.            Eligibility Restrictions:

a.         Employees of KMPS, its corporate parent Infinity Broadcasting Corporation, affiliated entities, their affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Seattle metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win.

b.         Listeners and anyone in their immediate family household are eligible to win a KMPS contest only once every thirty days.  Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest.

c.         Listeners or members of their immediate family household are eligible to win a prize valued at $600.00 or more only once every six months.

3.            Prizes:

a.         Prize is as specified in specific contest rules.  Prize values vary—please note as specified for specific contest.

b.         Prizes can be won during dates specified for specific contest. 

c.       All daily prizes will be mailed to the winners, who by acceptance of the prize, agree to assume the risk of its safe arrival.  KMPS is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.  Any prize valued over $50 (or as determined by the KMPS Staff) must be picked up at the office of KMPS at 1000 Dexter Avenue North, Suite 100; Seattle.  Any prize or prize certificate not claimed within forty-five days of winning will be forfeited by the winner. 

d.        Contest prizes are not transferable.  Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash.

4.            Selection of Winners:

          a.      Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final.

       b.      Odds of winning are dependent on the number of contestants for specific           

                     contest.

5.            Conditions:

a.         Payment of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.  Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form 1099 or the equivalent.

b.         By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material related to this contest, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize.

             c.         Contest winners and their travel companions will be required to sign a liability release prior to acceptance of any prize valued at $600.00 or greater or which prize includes the provision of transportation, whether or not such transportation is provided by KMPS.  Pursuant to the liability release, the winners will agree to hold KMPS, its corporate licensee, parent corporation Infinity Broadcasting Corporation, affiliated companies and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or contest.

6.          KMPS reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest which will become effective upon announcement.

7.         If the prize is a trip, KMPS is not responsible for air traffic or other travel delays, cancellations, postponements, overbooking or rescheduling due to circumstances beyond its control or for the cancellation, postponement or rescheduling of the event.

8.            No purchase is necessary.  The contest is void where prohibited.

9.            Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification.
