A benefit CD for Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center in Woodinville
Event: With Our Hands: World Folk Arts of Washington
Date and Time: January 21, 2009 – August 23, 2009
Description: The History Museum and the Washington State Arts Commission have partnered to develop this folk art celebration that will introduce visitors to various folk art traditions; ranging from traditional Chinese paper cutting to Mexican horse hair weaving. The exhibit will feature the history of folk art and folk artists in Washington. A weekend festival with live demonstrations from more than 15 artists will be held April 18 and 19. Hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 10 AM - 5 PM, with extended hours and free admission every Thursday night, 5 - 8 PM; Sunday NOON - 5 PM. During the summer, from Memorial Day through Labor Day, the Museum is open on Mondays from 10 AM - 5 PM. Admission: $25 for families (two adults and up to four children); $8 for adults; $7 for seniors, age 60 and above; $6 for students and military with valid ID; children, age 5 and below, and members are always FREE.

Event: Women's Votes, Women's Voices
Date and Time: February 28, 2009 – September 27, 2009
Description: This exhibit will highlight the history of the struggle of women to attain the right to vote in our state, in commemoration of the Washington Suffrage Centennial. Hear the story of how women from various ethnic and economic groups achieved a voice in public life, and how women’s voting influenced territorial and state history, such as prohibition laws. The exhibition will feature approximately 200 artifacts, interactive kiosks, and oral histories. Hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 10 AM - 5 PM, with extended hours and free admission every Thursday night, 5 - 8 PM; Sunday NOON - 5 PM. Bothell Farmers Market
Date: June 5, 2009 - September 25, 2009
Time: 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m
Description: Bothell’s 12th Annual Farmers Market will feature many locally grown and organic fruits and vegetables, cut flowers, nuts, breads, berries, honey, and quality hand-crafted items made by local artisans. Local musicians will keep you humming while you make your purchases. Visitors will also enjoy the beautiful grounds of Country Village.

Pacific Days 2009 Our City?s 100th Birthday!

Description: The Pacific Partnerships is once again presenting its annual Pacific Days the weekend of Friday July 10 through Sunday July 12 in the City of Pacific Park located right next to the flowing White River. This year’s theme is a celebration of our city’s 100th birthday and features both a kid’s parade on Friday evening and our main event parade Saturday. There will also be old-fashioned kid activities, lots of free fun for the whole family along with vendors, food, crafts, and much, much more. Don’t miss it. Hadlock Days
Date and Time: July 11 - 9:00 AM - July 12 - 5:00 PM
Description: Hadlock Days 2009 will be presenting two days of Lawnmower Racing and a Classic Car Show on Sunday. Come Saturday early to find your choice viewing space of the the Parade. The Vendors will be open with food, arts and crafts, along with many other wares for your enjoyment. We will have some kiddy rides for the young to enjoy. The classic Car Show will have music for your listening and the entrance fee will be donation to benefit the Tri Area Food Bank. Bring some non-perishable items to help out the community. Lots of steel beauty for you to view and enjoy. The lawnmower races will have approximately 100 racers this year. Spread the word and bring your friends, family and neighbors out to enjoy and great weekend. Our Hadlock is about families, friends and neighbors building a community.

Event: Friends Helping Friends Golf Tournament
Date and Time: Friday – July 24th, 2009 2:00 PM Shotgun Start - Check in begins @ 1:00 PM
Description: Four person scramble – make up your own foursome or Let us match you with other fun golfers (or non golfers)  Optional honey pots will be available - $10.00 closest to the pin hole #3 and $5.00 putting contest 50% of each pot will go to the winners and 50% to Friends Helping Friends. We will have many fabulous prizes that will be raffled off at the BBQ. Raffle tickets will be sold for $5.00 each need not be present to win. All raffle proceeds go to Friends Helping Friends. This is a fun only event.  We have many great sponsors and lots of awesome prizes will be raffled.  Everyone is welcome.  Cost for dinner only will be $20.00. Please reserve your spot soon, space is limited.

Little League Softball World Series
Date and Time: Sunday - Aug. 16, 2009 through Sunday - Aug. 16, 2009
Description: The tournament is held annually, one of eight World Series sponsored by Little League Baseball Inc. It is a true "world" series, as participating teams represent regions from all over the globe. Everest Park in the great city of Kirkland, Washington, will play host. Tournament dates are Aug. 16-22, and we invite all to come be a part of this thrilling event. You can watch the championship game on the ESPN family of networks.

32nd Annual LeMay Car Show and Auction
Date and Time: August 29th at 9 am
Description: LeMay - America’s Car Museum Celebrating America’s Love Affair with the Automobile See over 300 classic, modern and specialty automobiles, plus trucks and motorcycles. Almost every year and brand sold in America during the 20th century is represented. Don’t miss seeing this incredible collection! Fishermen's Fall Festival
Date and Time: September 26, 2009 11:00AM - Dusk
Description: The 21st Annual Fishermen's Fall Festival is a FREE event celebrating our local fishing fleet. All proceeds directly benefit the Seattle Fishermen's Memorial and their efforts to honor the local fishing community and their families. The Fishermen's Fall Festival will feature industry related exhibits and competitions, fundraising salmon barbeque, children's activities including an appearance by J.P. Patches and musical entertainment.
